is situated in the west of Yunnan. Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture is linked with Myanmar on the southwest, southeast and northwest by common mountains and rivers and share a boundary line of 141.1km. Ruili is an important post on the ancient Southwest Silk Road and the end of the inter-provincial highway No. 320. It is the main port for Chinese trade with Myanmar and abuts Muse, the main port for Myanmar’s trade with China.

The annual number of persons passing through Ruili port is 4.36 million with a cargo volume of 475,000 tons. Traffic through the port was 386,000 vehicles.
